The workshop and school will take place at the University of Luxembourg, located at 162a, avenue de la Faïencerie L-1511, Luxembourg. Some rooms will be available for selected participants based on their needs at the youth hostel (2 Rue du Fort Olisy, 2261) and local hotels.
Luxembourg is a charming small country in the heart of Europe. Its capital, which goes by the same name, hosts excellent restaurants and many sights, such as “Europe’s most beautiful balcony”. The city’s old quarters are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The country has a dense network of beautiful and well-signposted hiking trails that are a bus/train away from the city center, many of them passing by castles. During the conference period, Luxembourg will have the Winterlights festival: Christmas markets, live concerts, exhibitions, and performances can be found all across the city.
Places can be smoothly reached by free public transportation, you will mostly use the bus and tram system. We recommend using the apps Google maps and mobiliteit.lu for finding optimal routes.
